Eva 14 years.

 

First of all, excuses for the bad lightning, I still have light problems and didn't figure out a way to resolved it at the time I made this pictures. ~ Allereerst excuses voor de slechte belichting, ik heb nog steeds licht problemen en had nog geen manier gevonden om dit op te lossen op het moment dat ik de foto's maakte.
My niece Eva is celebrating her 14th birthday today and we are still in a total lockdown overhere, so instead visiting her I sent her this card. I saw this card on Facebook (made by Thera R.) and because I am still new at this side of crafting I tried to lift it with the papers out of the Sakura Kit. Because I am a cardmaking newby I copied the papers so I don't had to be afraid to misscut the papers. ~ Mijn nichtje Eva viert vandaag haar 14de verjaardag. Aangezien we nog steeds in een lockdown zitten en we dus niet op visite kunnen gaan, heb ik deze kaart gemaakt. Ik zag deze kaart op Facebook (gemaakt door Thera R.) en aangezien ik nog helemaal nieuw ben in het kaartmaken craft gedeelte heb ik deze gelift, maar met het papier van de Sakura Kit en omdat ik echt een newbie ben in het kaart maken heb ik het papier uit de kit gekopieerd, zodat ik me geen zorgen hoefde te maken als het niet gelijk lukte.

For the base of the card I cut out two pieces of white cardstock with the measurements give or take 14cm high and 30 cm long. I used a cutting die to make the triangle on the front and a circle die cut to cut out the "window" in the middle of the triangle. ~ Voor de basis van de kaart heb ik uit wit cardstock 2 stroken van ongeveer 14x30 gesneden. Met een vierkant snijmal die ik schuin heb gelegd heb ik de driehoek gecreëerd en met een circel snijmal heb ik het " raampje"  gemaakt in het midden van de driehoek. 

Out the other piece of the white card stock I also cut out a "window" with a circle die cut (a smaller one than on the front) on the spot where the front side overlays the card. Little correction I first glued the Sakura papers over the white cardstock before I cut out the windows. After cutting the windows I glued the two pieces together in te middel and than I also covered the middle page with Sakura paper. ~ Uit de andere cardstock strook heb ik ook een circel gesneden (een kleinere versie dan de circel op de voorkant) precies onder de plek waar de circel van de voorkant er overheen klapt. Kleine correctie, voordat ik de kaart met de circels door de big shot haalde heb ik deze eerst beplakt met Sakura papier. Nadat ik de circels had gestanst heb ik twee stukken als middenstuk aan elkaar geplakt en ook dit midden stuk beplakt met design papier.

And than I started with decorating the card. For this I fussy cut the mini's out of the Beautiful You printable and placed this with foamtape for extra dimension. The wishbaloons and bow are copied die cuts from the kit. The left over papers from this project I covered with doubelsided adhesive and with the cutting dies from the Art Journal Specials and the Planner Essentials I diecutted the flowers and the number 14. I used some washitape for the finishing touch. ~ Toen kon ik beginnen met decoreren. Hiervoor heb ik de mini's van de Beautiful You uitgeknipt en met foam tape voor de extra dimensie op de kaart geplakt. De wensballonnen en de strik zijn van de embellishments die ik ook gecopieerd had. Ik vind de kit zo mooi en ons bin zuunig. Van de restjes van het papier die ik heb gebruikt voor dit project heb ik met behulp van dubbelzijdig tape en snijmallen van zowel de Art Journal Specials als de Planner Essentials heb ik de bloemen en nummer 14 uitgestanst. Voor de finishing touch heb ik wat washitape gebruikt.
